It’s the fab. It’s the “it”. It’s the Magnum ultimate
taste bud experience!
I hate to sound so provincial and ignorant about this newest and fab-best buzz in town, I know it has been four (4) luxurious months since it was launched in the country. In fact, the kind of star-studded launching with shining-shimmering-splendid garbs that an A-class won’t miss.
So here’s the story…
With rumbling stomachs and a cold
weather, Mr. Evangelista (the boyfie) and I went out to scout for an (un)earthly
food in a small grocery store nearby, and guess what? We just had a taste of seventh
heaven at 50php times two! Admittedly, though gibberish in a chilly weather,
this is our first time to have a grab. We chose Magnum Almond (milk
chocolate coating with crunchy almonds) and Chocolate Truffle (creamy chocolate
covered with crunchy Belgian (!) rich chocolaty sauce). # Definitely NOT your
ordinary ice cream!
For chocolate lovers like us, mouth watering and “sarap ulit-ulitin” is an understatement! I really love that rich milky chocolate feeling that melts in my mouth and oh, the crunchiness of the chocolate coating—I must say, it’s all love, love, love! I felt my taste buds rejoiced and at the same time, craved for more. Do you know Royce chocs? Well, tastes like it.
The Cons:
It’s a little bit pricey at Php 50.00
per bar and not to mention the looming high fat content. I suggest that we
should practice a little abstinence for this one. Well come to think of it, this is a
premium ice cream bar and therefore, perfect for occasional celebration of wins
or other milestones in our life.
Am I buying Magnum ice cream bars
in the future?
Absolutely! My boyfriend and I really liked it, in fact, we love it
so much! If you haven’t tasted it yet, please do. Indulge yourself, we all deserve a royalty treat once in a while. Let’s just say, a royal reward.
